Exciting new partnership: U.S.-Brazil Strategic Energy Dialogue

President Obama announced a new partnership with Brazil to collaborate on supporting economic growth, energy security, and the transition to a clean energy economy.  As part of this new initiative, there will be a new rating system created to make it easy to choose energy-saving building products.  Also in the works is a workshop focusing on energy audits for industrial facilities and methods to finance retrofits.  Check out the full story for details.

    Brazil has had such a tremendous growth, and the fact that they've almost become 100% self-sufficient when it comes to fossil fuels (or ethanol, in their case) is amazing. Bravo to President Obama for taking the right steps in advancing our coop with Brazil!

    overall it is encouraging.
    Still I think they should be looking to eliminate nuclear power, not to advance the technology. due to the risk to humane life and the environment
