Reviewers Wanted by U.S. DOE: Envelope Technical Experts

Posted by Webmaster on 5. April 2012 11:21

In March, the Building Technologies Program at DOE released a competitive solicitation (scroll down to the heading: DE-FOA-0000621: Energy Savings through Improved Mechanical Systems and Building Envelope Technologies). DOE is looking for reviewers with deep technical and/or market expertise in the HVAC and/or Building Envelope areas for both the Concept Paper phase and Full Application phase. In particular, reviewers should have knowledge in the areas of: thermal insulation, windows, roofing, heat pumps, heating systems and/or heat exchangers.

Reviewers who plan to or have submitted an application in response to this FOA are not eligible. Honoraria (Concept Papers and Full Applications) and travel expenses (Full Applications) will be paid for your effort. The review dates for Full Applications have not yet been set, but will likely occur at end of June/beginning of July.

If you are interested in being considered as a Reviewer for the Concept papers and/or Full Applications, we would appreciate you responding to Simone Sydnor (simone.sydnor@ee.doe.gov). Please include an attachment of your resume or CV. You will then receive further instructions. If you cannot participate this round but may be interested in further rounds, please let us know that as well.
