The EERE web management team is now ready to brief you on Phase II of our EERE Web centralization effort. In Phase II we will move each EERE web site into the RedDot content management system (CMS). Using the CMS will make it possible to streamline the production of web sites and maintain quality control over the final products.

Web servers have been installed in the EERE computer support center here in Forrestal, configuration of the RedDot system is completed, and we anticipate approval of our cybersecurity plans in the next few weeks. For those who are interested I am including at link to the RedDot site.

At our briefings we will: 1) demonstrate how the RedDot CMS works; 2) let you know what to expect before, during, and after your site is migrated; 3) lay out our proposed migration schedule; and 4) answer any questions you might have.

We ask that each EERE organization send a representative to one of the briefings. You and your contractors can attend whichever meeting best fits into your schedule. To facilitate participation by the EERE regional offices and off-location contractors and staff, a conference call line will be set up.

Thanks for your continued support as we go through this process. Change is never easy; however, based on the experience with EERE's corporate sites, the process seems to be going well.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
