EERE has been working on a long-term Web site redesign effort, which will eventually include every element of the site. You may recall that we previously updated the branding used on EERE Web sites by changing the banners used on the EERE Web site.
Now, in order for EERE to have a cohesive identity, we have just updated our print standards and exhibit guidelines as well. The print standards have been completely revamped, and include brand new guidelines for using:
There are also new templates for:
- PowerPoint Presentations
- Business Cards
- CD Labels
- Microsoft Word Documents
- Fact Sheets
- Case Studies
- Report Covers
The exhibit standards have also been updated from the ground-up. All of the new requirements for EERE exhibits can be found in the Exhibit Design Standards PDF on the Illustrations and Specifications of Exhibit Graphics Web page.
If you develop print products or exhibits for EERE, we invite you to a Webinar on November 5, 2009 at 1:00 pm ET to get an overview of the new identity. If you’d like to participate in the Webinar or if you have any questions about how to use these standards, please contact Scott Minos.
And if you have any general questions about the new print or exhibit standards, please leave a comment here on the blog!
