Over the last few months, we've been working to update the EERE Linking Policy, which describes what external Web sites you can link to and how.

Our linking page now lists our only two requirements: Follow the DOE Linking Policy and tell visitors when you link offsite.

All of the recommendations we put forth in our EERE guidance should still stand: Only link to sites that support your content and only link to sites that either provide an educational benefit, or are in partnership with your program or EERE.

If you have any questions about how to apply the DOE Linking Policy to your sites, feel free to ask the Communication Standards Webmaster or leave a comment here on the blog.
