End of Federal Fiscal Year - Please Draw Down EECBG Funds This Week
EECBG Grantees:
As we approach the end of the Federal fiscal year on September 30th, we are also approaching a critical program milestone of 20% of funds drawn down. We are currently short of this goal with only a week to go. Every dollar you draw down and put into the economy helps your constituents and the broader Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant community.
In 18 short months, together we have taken EECBG from a mere concept to a vital program with more than 2,300 recipients, 4,000 projects launched, and 10,000 approved local activities. A primary goal of the program is to stimulate the nation's economy by infusing funds into your local economies. As we wrap up the fiscal year, it is imperative that we get funds disbursed by September 30th. By drawing down funds, you are not only helping your community, you are helping show the strength of the EECBG program at this critical time.
EECBG translates clean energy from theory to practice at the local level across America. Thousands of clean energy projects are underway covering building retrofits, energy efficiency financing, renewable energy systems, transportation innovation and methane abatement. Please help us demonstrate the success of the EECBG program by doing your part to accelerate payments.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Thank you!
